Founder of Zaim Tech · Mombasa, Kenya
Hi, I’m Zaim
Sheali.
I am Zaim Maalim Sheali, a 16-year-old developer from Mombasa. I work across cross-platform apps, backend APIs, embedded systems, and security-focused tools. I founded Zaim Tech to bring my projects together and share what I learn while building them.
BUILD · LEARN · CREATEOn my workbench
Things I’ve made, tested, or contributed to.
I’m interested in the details that make software useful: connecting to platform features, making tools easier to use, and testing an idea by building it.
flet-webview-all
My work on bringing webview support into Flet projects across platforms, with attention to each platform’s integration needs.
Flet Android Notifications
I contributed to Android notifications for Flet, helping app developers reach a native phone feature from their projects.
flet-image-viewer
A compact image browsing app built around a simple interface and a smooth experience across devices.
Zaim Video Downloader
A web project focused on one task: giving people a direct, uncomplicated way to use a media downloading tool.
Swapy
An idea I’m developing around programming in Swahili and making the first steps into coding feel more familiar.
Pose Camera View
A camera experiment centered on viewing pose information as it changes, with room to explore real-time visuals.
A little more about me
Building software, systems, and tools.
I’m based in Mombasa, where I build cross-platform applications, backend systems, embedded products, and security-focused tools. I founded Zaim Tech to bring my independent projects together and keep exploring how technology can address practical needs.
I’m especially curious about digital tools for financial systems and business software, developer-focused products, cybersecurity, and new ways to make technology accessible. Swapy is one of my current ideas: a programming language concept for Swahili speakers.
